Gonzalo Benjamín Argañarás, artistically known as Lloyd Vaan, was born in 2003 and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Beginning at the age of 12 with just songwriting and proceeded from there, he has proved himself to be perfectly capable of being an extremely talented artist. A fast learner with an extreme passion for music that started at a young age and proceeded to better his music.
Lloyd Vaan is no doubt talented, being self taught of the piano, bass, drums and producing. His father bought a keyboard and once Lloyd discovered it out of boredom, he started to translate the "musical sounds" from his imagination to that keyboard.
At 14 he officially began getting serious about music, he got into music production and started writing more songs. His first release was his single ‘Peace’ in 2018, featuring just three songs all with their own sound. Which perfectly describes Lloyd Vaan as an artist, experimental with no specific genre but with a unique sense of authenticity.
In 2019 he released his first LP ‘Masquerades’ offering a much wider variety of sounds experimenting not only with electronic sounds but with more organic textures.
Later that year he released the unique ‘arcade funk’ piece ‘Holy Willie’
In 2020, after the release of his second LP ‘Anatomy & Friends’ his audience grew significantly, this album include songs like: one of his most popular pieces ‘Gustav Hellmann’ which has a unique scent of cinematic downtempo and jazztronica, the beautiful lucid dream inspired ‘Summer Bliss’ and the heavenly multifaceted ethereal ‘Paralysis’
